Art exhibition

The Naas Art Group is holding its 43 rd Annual Exhibition
Opening on Thurs 5 th of December from 7.30 to 9pm in the Naas Plaza 47/48 main Street East.

The exhibition runs from 4 th to 21 st December simultaneously in

two venues on Main Street Naas.

Library Opening time is from 10am to 5pm daily with late
opening until 8pm on Tue, Wed, Thurs. Closed Sunday
The Naas Art Group, founded in 1981,has over 40 members
from Naas and surrounding areas. The artists generally meet
on the 2 nd Saturday of each month to paint together in the
Men’s Shed in Naas. The artists inspire each other over a cup
of tea and chat, while newcomers and beginners are welcomed
and encouraged to join in. At least four workshops are given by
visiting, professional artists throughout the year to promote our
artistic development . Social outings to the National Gallery or
events such as Art Source in the RDS are enjoyed by all.
We are regular beneficiaries of Kildare Community Grants
scheme. Earlier in 2024,as part of a community project, we held
an Environmental Art Exhibition to bring information to our
Naas followers and local community about Biodiversity,
Pollution and the problems of carbon emissions from
transporting food around the world.
