Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy arrives at funeral as celebrities pictured outside church

Mourners have started to arrive at a church in Buckinghamshire ahead of Liam Payne's funeral. Girls Aloud stars Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts have been pictured along with Damian Hurley.

The son of Elizabeth Hurley could be seen walking alongside Liam's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. In a tribute to Liam, Kate previously said: "Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned.

“You will always be with me." she added: "Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I’ve lost the best part of myself. I can’t imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life.”

The private service comes more than one month after the former One Direction member died in Argentina. The 31-year-old fell from a hotel balcony on October 16. His bandmates - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - are all expected to attend the funeral today (Wednesday, November 20).

Liam's heartbroken family previously said: "We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul."

Despite Liam growing up in Wolverhampton, his funeral is taking place in the home counties. Other famous faces expected to appear are Simon Cowell and Cheryl, who shared a son with Liam.
