ITV This Morning star dies but 'won't have funeral' for heartbreaking reason
by Katy Hallam, https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/authors/katy-hallam/ · Birmingham LiveCelebrity hairstylist Trevor Sorbie has died aged 75 - but there will be no funeral to mark his passing. The iconic hairdresser died just weeks after revealing he had been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer on This Morning, where he made regular appearances.
A tribute announcing the star's death from his team revealed there would be no funeral held. This is because Trevor himself had requested no event be held.
He previously admitted he didn't want a funeral because it would be “too upsetting”. His team have said they plant to celebrate his 'remarkable life and contributions' with a special event next year instead.

A tribute read: "It is with heartfelt emotion that we share the passing of our esteemed founder, Trevor Sorbie MBE. Trevor passed away peacefully with his family and beloved dog by his side.
"Trevor’s journey, marked by unparalleled creativity and kindness, has left an indelible mark on the world of hairdressing and beyond. From pioneering The Wedge five decades ago to establishing our first salon in 1979, Trevor’s vision set new standards and continues to inspire generations.
"As we commemorate 45 years of Trevor Sorbie salons, we remain steadfast in upholding the passion, artistry, and dedication that he embodied.
