U2 legend welcomes 'beautiful' new baby girl to the family and shares name

The Edge has become a grandfather again after his daughter gave birth to a baby girl. The legendary U2 guitarist was celebrating the latest addition to the family.

His eldest eldest daughter Hollie announced she'd welcomed her third child on social media - and shared her 'beautiful' name. She said the new arrival had made their family "complete".

Sharing some sweet family snaps with the newborn, Hollie wrote "She's arrived... Miss Sadie Rose our family is now complete with you in it and one lucky girl with two big brothers who are utterly in love!!"

Pictures posted by Hollie included heartwarming hospital photos and images of Sadie meeting her older siblings, Otis and Arlo Jack. Hollie's husband Fans also got a Jamie Hewitson also featured in the post, and was captured tenderly holding his baby girl, NottinghamshireLive reports.

One fan responded: "Congratulations. Super news, what a beautiful lady with a beautiful name." Another said: "The boys look so chuffed. Welcome to the world gorgeous Sadie."

Hollie was The Edge's firstborn from his marriage to Aislinn O'Sullivan. The Edge, whose real name is David Evans, shares a close bond with his daughter, and walked her down the aisle in a quaint Tuscan wedding ceremony in 2015. He later married Morleigh Steinberg in 2002, with whom he shares a son and another daughter.
