Netflix's latest festive offering, 'Meet Me Next Christmas', is melting hearts and setting the mood for the holiday season. The film stars Christina Milian alongside Devale Ellis, Kofi Siriboe, Tymika Tafari, and members of Pentatonix - Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee.

It follows Layla, played by Milian, on her enchanting quest to find true love. After watching the movie, TikTok has been abuzz with fans gushing over its charming plot. The movie's plot centres around Layla's (Milian) whirlwind adventure across New York City to secure a ticket to the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert. There, she hopes to reunite with James (Kofi Siriboe), whose charm makes him the only gift she desires this Christmas.

Milian characterises Meet Me Next Christmas as a "treasure hunt for love", with Layla navigating the bustling streets of New York alongside an unlikely companion, professional concierge Teddy (Devale Ellis). "There's a sense of magic, love, and anticipation that's happening through the whole movie," she shares with Tudum.

"You just never know who they're going to run into or what's going to happen next."

Whatever festive surprises are in store, Layla is prepared to do whatever it takes to realise her dreams. Milian describes her as a "motivated woman."

"Layla is a girl that knows what she wants," the actor asserts.

"She's got a good head on her shoulders, and when she knows she wants something, she goes for it. She doesn't let anything stop her. She needs to find this man, and she's going to find him at the Pentatonix show."
