BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal 'go missing' from rehearsal video
by Katy Hallam, https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/authors/katy-hallam/ · Birmingham LiveStrictly Come Dancing fans couldn't help but notice a glaring omission in the show's recent Instagram post. Pete Wicks and his professional partner Jowita Przysta were noticeably absent from the latest rehearsal video, prompting fans to share their theories on why they were missing.
On Saturday, the pair delivered an emotional couple's choice performance to The Best by Nicotine Dolls. They dedicated the dance to Pete's late grandmother Doreen and earned a score of 36.
Pete was overcome by emotion on the night, struggling to speak after the performance after telling viewers how much his nan had meant to him. However, when the show's official Instagram page shared rehearsal clips, fans pointed out that Pete and Jowita were nowhere to be seen.

One fan commented on the video: "why's there no Pete and jowita content in here." Another asked: "More Pete and Jamie please @strictly."
Another fan speculated: "I think it was too emotional and personal for him and also i don't see them speaking during that dance. Maybe that's why ."
The show's page captioned the post: "Mic check one two, one two it's #Strictly hidden mics time."
This comes after other fans expressed concern about Pete's prospects on the show. Fans of the BBC show think Pete Wicks has been set up for failure after his song and routine were revealed.
Pete and Jowita will be performing the Cha Cha Cha to I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred. One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Trying to sabotage Pete with such a lame song, it's so evident, give an improved dancer the rubbish song # strictly."
"Oh, they want Pete to go next week! Not looking forward to Shirley’s sexualisation of him," another fan agreed. A third said: "I feel so sorry for Pete. I’m Too Sexy is one of the worst songs ever made, and he will have to listen to it relentlessly all week. "
