The Department for Work and Pensions has listed a full list of benefits claimants who'll receive an early payment this Christmas and New Year. Due to the incoming Bank Holidays, the DWP will be issuing benefits payments early for the festive season.

If you're due a benefit payment on Wednesday, December 25, or Thursday, December 26, then you'll likely receive your money on Tuesday, December 24. This is because benefit payments are typically are not sent on bank holidays.

If you're due a benefit payment on Wednesday, January 1, then you should get paid on Tuesday, December 31. The following benefits could be impact by the upcoming back holidays, the DWP has explained as we approach Christmas week.

Attendance Allowance is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every four weeks. Disability Living Allowance is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every four weeks. Employment and Support Allowance is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every two weeks.

Income Support is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every two weeks, Jobseeker’s Allowance is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every two weeks and Pension Credit is affected because the DWP benefits is usually paid every four weeks.

Personal Independence Payment is also listed because it is paid usually every four weeks, while State Pension is also listed because it is paid four-weekly. Tax credits or Child Tax Credits - Every four weeks or weekly - completes the list alongside Universal Credit, which is paid every month.
