The health guru was enjoying a holiday in Greece when he went missing amid scorching temperatures in early June this year.
He had been at Agios Nikolaos beach on Symi island with his wife, Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, and friends on June 5, before he set off for a walk and never returned. An exhaustive search by rescue teams and local volunteers ensued.
Four days later, his body was found in a remote area close to their accommodation in Agia Marina. Dr Mosley's wife stated that her husband had embarked on an "incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn't be easily seen" by the search parties.

Greek officials initially indicated that natural causes were to blame for his death, but a formal inquest is yet to be conducted by the Buckinghamshire coroner back in Britain. At the time of Dr Mosley's passing, Greek police spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou reported no signs of injury on his body that would suggest a different cause of death.
Early post-mortem findings pointed to Dr Mosley dying around 4pm on the day he disappeared, mere hours after he left the beach at approximately 1.30pm. Temperatures on that fateful day had climbed to nearly 40C, reports the Mirror.
The inquest into the death of Dr. Michael Hugh Mosley, set initially for November 14 at 2pm by Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court, has been postponed to January 16 at 12.40pm. A notice on the Buckinghamshire Coroner's website updated the schedule with a brief message: "Michael Hugh Mosley. Died 5 June 2024 in Greece. Home address, Beaconsfield. Aged 67 years."
Dr. Mosley, renowned for his contributions to dietary and weight loss advice, left a significant legacy through his television programmes, podcasts, and bestselling books, including The Fast 800, 5:2, The Way of Life, and The Fast 800 Keto.
