KSI has been handed an unexpected power during his stint on Britain's Got Talent. Despite only being drafted in for one episode, the boxer and musician was given the chance to press the golden buzzer.

The social media star, 30, was due to appear as a guest judge on the hit ITV show, filling in for Bruno Tonioli. KSI will be keeping Bruno's seat warm during the auditions he'll miss while in the USA filming Dancing With The Stars.

Although he won't be a permanent fixture on the long-running talent show, KSI will still be granted the right to bash the golden buzzer, the Mirror reports. Acts who impress hosts Ant and Dec, or the judges - which also include Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden - enough to hit the button get sent straight through to the live finals.

A source toldThe Sun:“Bosses were keen for KSI to appear much like a full-time judge would, given he’s due to stand in for a number of days. It means there will be one more golden buzzer act this year, with the remaining judges and hosts Ant and Dec also given an opportunity to press it. It will no doubt make the finals more exciting, to see which judge is best at picking a winner.”

Applications for Britain's Got Talent 2025 were currently open, with hopefuls able to submit applications in person, by video, by WhatsApp. People can also use the official application website to nominate someone they know.
