BBC Escape to the Country couple halt interview and prepare to take 'next steps'
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveA BBC Escape to the Country couple have made an emotional admission after finding the "perfect" property.A couple who appeared on the BBC's Escape to the Country were looking for a property in Buckinghamshire during a recent episode.
During the episode, leafy Buckinghamshire was Sonali Shah’s destination as she tried to help a London couple search for their dream countryside home. Sonali also visited the county’s last independent brick maker and finds out how to make them.
And she soon discovered it’s not as easy as it looks. During the episode, the pair - who were relocating from the capital - told the host they were armed with a handy budget of £750k, and their list of requirements included four bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a separate dining room.

They viewed a £650,000 home in Bierton as well as a £775,000 house in Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire. Later, a mystery home in Oakley, Buckinghamshire, wowed the couple - but also came with a hefty budget of £750,000,
Discussing it after they had viewed the Victorian style property, one of the couple Sharad told the host emotionally: "I think compared to the other houses we've seen, this is the best of the three. There's no changes to be done."
The house hunter went on, saying: "We can just pay for it and move in and start life again." The house buyer continued, telling the presenter: "The house was perfect. Our next step is going to contact the estate agent and hopefully come and visit the place again and bring my father and brother up to have a look at it as well. It's a very big decision for us."
The episode first aired back in March of 2022 but was re-broadcast by the BBC this week and is available on iPlayer to watch now.
