ITV I'm A Celeb star Olivia Attwood 'at war' with Maura Higgins as she shares 'explosive secret'

by · Birmingham Live

A shock clash has emerged in the I'm A Celebrity camp, as Olivia Attwood seemingly threw a barbed comment towards Maura Higgins. Olivia, who had to leave the jungle just 48 hours into the 2022 series, alluded to having a secret that would "blow your f****** mind" in her Instagram stories.

While Olivia hasn’t confirmed the target of her cryptic swipe, speculation points to reality star Maura, 34, who recently joined the same PR agency and shared details of avenging a cheating ex. Olivia’s fiery post to her multitude of followers read: "One day I'm going to write a book and some of the stuff I have managed to keep quiet on over the years. It will blow your f****** mind.

"You can try to hire all the same people, regurgitate my stories as your own, study the playbook, follow the recipe blah blah blah, but it will NEVER taste the same. That's all."

Olivia appeared in the third series of Love Island in 2017, while Maura joined the show in 2019. Both reality TV stars have previously worked as models and Ring Girls before moving into presenting roles after finding fame on Love Island.

Earlier this year, Olivia revealed that her now-husband Bradley Dack's infidelity was the driving force behind her decision to enter the Love Island villa. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Olivia explained: "I wanted to get back at my ex-bad boyfriend Bradley, and it worked. I turned down series three initially - until I found out Brad was seeing his ex-girlfriend. I thought, 'Oh my gosh, I can't actually believe this has happened to me again. What am I actually doing?

"Anyone who has been cheated on knows it's just the most horrible thing. Brad and I hadn't met each other's families at that point but we were dating. I was deeply shocked," she said.

In a recent episode of I'm A Celebrity, Irish star Maura shared with her campmates that she also joined Love Island seeking revenge against a cheating ex. Maura, who is currently linked to The Only Way Is Essex and Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks, exacted revenge on the man before ending things to fly to Love Island, reports the Mirror.

The brunette beauty recounted her story of betrayal and personal justice to fellow campmates Jane Moore and Danny Jones. When Jane quizzed Maura on her surprising journey to Love Island, the Irish celebrity divulged: "So I had a boyfriend at the time" - she then described how an invasion of his privacy led to shocking findings that made her feel as though she "didn't know him at all".

Taking her tale further, she declared: "I had a plan and no word of a lie, when he went to the gym the next day I got his toothbrush and I filmed myself scrubbing in the verges [of the toilet], he had a dentist appointment that day."

Maura even considered more extreme measures, admitting: "I considered taking a dump on it." The camp was taken aback by her revelation, prompting Danny to exclaim: "You don't wanna mess with Maura! " Fueled by the betrayal, Maura confessed that she entered the villa with a vengeance, saying: "I went in like a bull in a china shop because I was so angry about that whole thing."

Yet, friends of Olivia doubt Maura's motives for recounting this story on I'm A Celeb, suggesting she might be embellishing for attention, as she previously attributed a similar story to her breakup with Curtis Pritchard. Sources expressed scepticism to the press, stating: "A lot of people are feeling confused by the story Maura told on Sunday night's episode of I'm A Celeb and wonder if she's telling tales for airtime.

"She explained to her campmates that she signed up to Love Island to get revenge on an ex-boyfriend who was unfaithful and how she used his toothbrush to clean the toilet. But she said the same when she split from Curtis Pritchard, alleging to her followers she used his toothbrush to clean the bog following their 2020 breakup.

"Olivia was cast on Love Island, seeking revenge on Bradley Dack, which worked out in the best way possible as now they're happily married. There's definitely a feeling Maura is attempting to carve out her career using Olivia's incredible success as a guide."

The Mirror has reached out to Olivia's representatives for comment on this story.
