Sunday Brunch viewers left appalled by interview that 'didn't come with a warning'

Sunday Brunch viewers have slapped the show with complaints after it failed to "issue a warning" over scenes which have left children distressed. On Sunday, the show discussed letters from Father Christmas and how to navigate the Christmas season as adults.

But the discussion - which came between the 9.30am and 12.30pm time slot - left some criticising the programme, which was hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. Another said: "Jeez @sundaybrunchc4 if your going to talk about letters from FC make a quick warning so we can keep the kids ears closed or change over for a moment. We’ve been getting NSPCC letters for 4 years now and love them, but my kids don’t need the magic to be spoiled!!"

On social media, other fans criticised Tim and Simon's presenting skills today. Twitter/X user Barfette typed: "I haven't watched it for years I watch James Martin, but I do now watch it on a Sunday as I cannot ABIDE Lovejoy and Rimmer. Great weather here Ellie, hope it's good in Warminster."

"I’d like to see an episode where someone spikes them all and it just becomes increasingly deranged as the interminable ‘brunch’ meanders its way towards Lovejoy and Rimmer getting off or something," another wrote on social media.

"It’s the same level of comedy you get from Lovejoy and Rimmer on Sunday brunch, horrendous," another posted. Another asked: "Just me, or does Tim Lovejoy look increasingly bored every week? #sundaybrunch "

Defending Simon, another said: "Mr Rimmer … Tremendous Mo, fella…! Have a great Movember and I hope your fundraising is going well. Nikhil Bellur from High Wycombe." Others defended the line up today, with another saying: "Talking of Roundabouts. Spain love building them now but they have no clue how to use them.

"Looking forward to the show." Another said: "Looking forward seeing local Notts band Alt Blk Era play.." And another said: "Two EastEnders yay!" Another said: "Another kids book to flog klaxon!! Miller comes on every year doing this!"

"I loved the Armstrong and Miller show. Are @actualbenmiller and @xander.armstrong planning to work together again sometime in the future, or is that a Pointless question," another wrote.
