Married At First Sight star Sacha Jones reveals Ross dumped her with brutal five-word text

Married At First Sight UK's Sacha Jones has opened up about her split from Ross McCarthy, revealing he ended their relationship via text. The pair, who were one of the few couples to complete the E4 experiment, saw their romance crumble shortly after filming concluded.

Despite turning up to the reunion show still very much together and revealing Ross had moved in with Sacha in Walsall, the beauty pageant winner told Ross to leave her family home. She claimed they had split because of Ross's 'anger issues'.

Reflecting on the aftermath of the show with OK!, Sacha shared: "When I think of my time with Ross after the show, it's just dark. Dark. I can't think of one happy memory after the show. It was awful. The last happy memory I have is going to the first reunion together and putting on a strong front."

Despite warnings from friends who noticed something amiss in the relationship, Sacha admitted she was too in love to see the signs. "My friends, well, they were constantly telling me to leave Ross," she recounted.

"They said I was constantly zoned out when I saw them. I wasn't 'present'. One friend said I looked like a ghost. It was a very dark time. A lot of people in these relationships blame themselves, but I was reassured that no, it's not me."

The relationship ultimately ended on a bitter note when Sacha confronted Ross over what she termed "anger issues", leading to his departure from her home. Shortly after, Ross reportedly sent her a blunt message.

Sacha revealed it read: "We're done, I'm ending it. Don't text me again please, take care."
