Home Alone star stuns in catwalk debut as she makes 'new beginnings' aged 58

Kristin Minter, best known for her role as Heather in the classic Christmas movie Home Alone, was hardly recognisable when she made an astonishing catwalk debut. The 58 year old actress caught everyone's attention at New York Fashion Week, confidently walking in the Dennis Basso show in stylish cream trousers paired with a chic beige and white jumper.

After a surprising revelation of being signed by Elite Model Management, leaving behind her acting pursuits, Kristin wowed her followers who hastened to commend her captivating appearance on social media, according to OK!

Kristin celebrated her runway success on Instagram, saying: "Walking NYFW after 40 years, but I didn't fall! Small victories! Thank you, Dennis Basso, for making me part of your show and new beginnings. #dennisbasso."

Krinstin has previously admitted that seeing herself on screen can make her "nauseous," but clearly, she has triumphed over any shyness and is now seizing opportunities in fashion modelling.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she admitted: "I've actually only seen Home Alone - and I wouldn't even say I saw it all the way through - once, at a screening. I remember I went to go and see Goodfellas, which came out right before I went to the screening of Home Alone."

She added: "I actually had to walk out of the theatre and get some air and stuff and then I remember with Home Alone it was the first screening I'd ever been to of something I was in and as soon as I saw my face, I burst into tears. And I've just never sat down and watched it again. I've seen bits and pieces, but I hate hearing my voice."

Despite not enjoying watching herself on screen, Kristin has enjoyed a successful career in television, featuring in hit series such as ER, Ray Donovan, and Dirt. She garnered praise for her portrayal of Miranda 'Randi' Fronczak in ER, which ran from 1994 to 2009.

Her latest role, according to IMDB, is in the 2022 thriller 7th Secret, where she portrays a young wife who leads a double life while concealing a dark secret.
