Sunday Brunch's Tim Lovejoy admits 'what am I doing' as he shares hair secret
by Shivon Watson · Birmingham LiveSunday Brunch host Tim Lovejoy opened up on his Channel 4 show about past attempts to make his hair appear fuller.
The 56-year-old presenter was back with another episode of the popular weekend show with co-host Simon Rimmer. With guests like Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Gyles Brandreth, Lloyd Griffith, and Boyzlife, there was no shortage of entertainment.
However, during a chat with comedian and actor Lloyd Griffith, the topic shifted to hair transplants and the men's own personal experiences with thinning hair.
Lloyd, who is healing from his own hair transplant, discussed his reasons for undergoing the procedure and his past difficulties.
This prompted Tim to reveal his own hair thickening tricks: "Because I saw someone use it in makeup one time, I started using that powder, the powder to just thicken it up a bit.
"But then it's like 'what am I doing?'"
The Express reports Lloyd also took the opportunity to showcase his hair transplant results, mentioning he had tried everything before deciding on surgery.
In a previous interaction in 2021, Tim addressed his hair situation after a fan queried him on social media site X about managing hair that isn't as thick or full as before.
The message they sent asked: "Tim, when did you start losing your hair? My son is 21 and distraught as he is losing fast.
"Did you investigate any of the procedures available? I feel for him as it's denting his confidence."
In response, Tim advised: "Whether we like it or not it's tough. The problem with procedures is once you're in, you have to keep going. This is why I didn't go through with transplant. The only real advice is go short and own it. It took me a while."
