by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveBBC Strictly Come Dancing pro Jowita Przystal managed to turn It Takes Two awkward tonight with a confession about her "connection" to Pete Wicks. The BBC pro dancer spoke out in the studio as she and the Only Way Is Essex star were interviewed.
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Jowita will be back on the dancefloor with TOWIE star Pete, who is also a former Channel 4 Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins star, on Saturday night. Ahead of their performance, they offered an update on their week of rehearsals.
It comes amid swirling rumours Pete, who had been romantically linked to Jowita, is actually in a relationship with Love Island legend Maura Higgins. During an appearance on It Takes Two tonight, Jowita opened up about things with Pete, insisting he is "such a gentleman" as she praised his "old fashioned soul" when she discussed their "connection".

Jowita revealed: "I think Pete is such a gentleman and he puts his arms in a frame and hold me and always likes to be in contact with me. I feel he's such an old school old fashioned soul so he likes that connection when we do ballroom. I think he likes to have control over me so that's why he likes ballroom."
"It's a big day tomorrow which needs celebration! It's your birthday tomorrow!" host Janette Manrara announced, referencing Pete's birthday. As the studio erupted in celebration, Pete looked mortified and batted his hands to his face in embarrassment. It comes after Pete and Jowita did the media rounds this week, and appeared on ITV This Morning.
Shooting down Alison Hammond, Pete told the host: "It's not a love bubble unfortunately, you came in early that was about 30 seconds.
"We have great chemistry because we’ve become such good friends. She’s one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, genuinely, not just in the dancing side of things, but outside of that, and I think that helps us with the dancing."
