ITV I'm A Celebrity star Oti Mabuse addresses leaving UK following 'trauma'
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveOti Mabuse has shared a candid admission about leaving her baby daughter for ITV I'm A Celebrity after her 'traumatic' birth. The birth of Mabuse’s baby was not an easy one – her and Iepure’s daughter was born 28 weeks premature, meaning she spent six weeks in intensive care.
Speaking to ITV, she said: “Now I have had my baby daughter, I want to get back to the adventurous and fun Oti.” She believes the competition will give her a chance to “catch up on a whole year's sleep” and use what she has learned as a new mum “to my advantage”.
“I feel ready for a change and doing something completely different. I will have no make-up, concealer, lashes - it's going to be nice to be laid back,” she declared. "Not seeing my daughter is going to be hard” the dancer admitted but declared her tot “is going to be one of my biggest motivators".

Mabuse, who is a judge on Dancing On Ice and former Strictly Come Dancing professional, will be first to arrive during Sunday’s launch episode as she meets Contostavlos, BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, and singer Jones at a poolside villa.
As McCullough arrives, he hugs Mabuse and Contostavlos and tells them: “I’m shaking.” After the show’s presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrive at the villa in a helicopter, they tell the contestants they are competing to become the first leaders of the camp – which will exempt them from the first bushtucker trial.
They are then told to drink cocktails of blended bull penis and fish eyes, with a garnish made from vomit fruit, to determine the order in which they will skydive from helicopters. First to finish his drink is Jones, with Contostavlos second, Moore third, McCullough fourth and Mabuse in fifth.
