BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers fume a star is leaving the show FOR GOOD after he was "stitched up" in Blackpool. BBC viewers have accusd Strictly Come Dancing of "stitching up" ITV The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks on Saturday night.

Pete was seen wearing tight PVC in a neon pink, a sheer shirt, sparkly sunglasses and a huge hot pink fake fur coat. Taking to Twitter/X, o ne person said: "Wtf? Weird singing, tempo too slow, pink plastic jeans. What have they done to pirate Pete?"

Someone else commented: "I really loved that one but Pete’s trousers were a bit too tight for comfort #strictly." Another viewer added: "Pete Wicks has been royally stitched up with this week's song and costume! A bit of a shame to go back to silly after his couple's choice."

"Poor Pete was stitched up completely this week but he’s got my votes," said another. Another another said: "OH PETE THE ICON YOU ARE." After the routine, when interviewed by Tess Daly, Pete said: "When people say to me that Strictly changes you, I imagine this is not what they thought I was going to end up as."

Head judge Shirley Ballas, giving the pair an 8, said: "Oh my god, Oh, let me think. You know what, calm myself down, you had some very good isolation. You had a very clean neckline. Isolation of the upper half of the body! Your hips were swinging left and right, I mean it was very entertaining. I don't think I'm ever going to forget this evening for as long as I live darling, well done!"

Pete and Jowita were awarded a total of 27 for their dance. Earlier this week, Jowita confirmed they were in Blackpool with a selfie of herself, Pete and Jamie Borthwick as they headed in the ballroom. "It's real," she wrote alongside the happy snap with a love heart eyes emoji.
