BBC Strictly Come Dancing spoiler leaked 'in real time' as results show was filmed with stunned fans in tears

by · Birmingham Live

Strictly Come Dancing's spoiler was leaked in record time just hours after the Blackpool special aired on Saturday night. The remaining eight couples took to the iconic Tower Ballroom floor to perform for the judges once again in a show packed with entertainment.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec held their position at the top of the leaderboard - for the third week running. They scored 39 points out of 40, just missing out on a perfect score after Craig deducted a mark for their Paso Doble.

They were joined at the top of the leaderboard by Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, who also scored 39 points for a couple's choice routine to Padam Padam by Kylie Minogue.

It was a week of personal bests, with blind comedian Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell receiving the highest score of the series for their American Smooth to “Jump” by Paul Anka.

At the other end of the leaderboard was Pete Wicks, who scored 27 points for his Cha Cha to “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred. Just above him in second spot from bottom was opera singer Wynne Evans and his partner Katya Jones, who got 31 points for their routine.

As viewers know, those in the middle of the leaderboard are never safe. The scores from the judges are added to votes from viewers at home, which can cause some shocks.

And this week is no different, with viewers stunned by the dance-off results as the results were leaked 'in real time' as the results show was being filmed, according to The Strictly Spoiler. One wrote: "Gutting about the first person in the dance off," adding a crying emoji.

"Oh god judges don't send XX home," a second said. "Surprised XX is in the dance off, other should be XX or XX," another fan commented.

Strictly Come Dancing results show airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer tomorrow night (Sunday, November 16) at 7.20pm.
