Sharon Osbourne sparks surgery concerns with totally different look and addresses weight loss

by · Birmingham Live

Sharon Osbourne has ignited concerns of new surgery after she confessed to having the 'worst facelift ever'.The 72 year old looked noticeably different when spotted while shopping in LA on Wednesday, leading fans to speculate whether she had undergone another surgery.

Her cheekbones seemed more pronounced and her eyebrow arched as she shopped at the high-end Neiman Marcus. This incident comes three years post her disclosure about a full facelift in December 2021 that left Sharon with an asymmetrical face and looking like a 'cyclops'.

The wife of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, also known for her career in music management, has previously spoken out about using Ozempic, which although not designed for weight loss, is adopted by celebrities for its slimming effects. She described the five-hour facelift as the 'worst thing she ever did'.

Speaking to The Times Magazine, she detailed her experience saying: "I looked like Cyclops. I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewwhiff, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected."

Sharon has candidly admitted that she struggles to regain weight after shedding three stone on Ozempic, a medication typically used for type 2 diabetes. She revealed: "Everybody was on it and I thought, 'Well, I'll have a bit of that.' And so this is the outcome.

"I've lost 42lb. I can't seem to put weight back on, which is a luxury, but also it's like, be careful what you wish for."

This isn't the first time Sharon has altered her looks over the years. It's believed she's undergone four face lifts so far, with the first in 1987, another in 2002, a lower facelift in 2019 that reportedly "left her looking like Elvis doing his trademark snarl" and the most recent one in 2021.

She's also had Botox and fillers applied to her face, 'lifts' performed on her arms and legs, a tummy tuck following gastric-band surgery and breast implants that unfortunately leaked. Given her cancer risk, she also underwent a double mastectomy.

Other procedures include liposuction, an eye lift, vaginal cosmetic surgery and a "cheeky little neck lift" that resulted in her "the most fabulous decolletage."

"There's not one part of my body that I haven't had twisted, lifted, elongated, whatever. I've been messed up many times," Sharon confessed. Sharon, who famously said she was quitting plastic surgery in 2012, seems to have changed her stance.

Back then, during an episode of The Talk in the US, she expressed regret about her procedures, saying: "No more, because I have been looking at pictures of myself recently since I started to lose weight, and in a lot of shots, my face looks plastic and at certain angles I was like, 'Oh, dear. Oh, I should never have done that. Oh, that's a bad one.' So I'm like, 'No more. No more abuse.'".

However, seven years later in 2019, Sharon unveiled a new look after a lower facelift on The Talk. She updated fans by saying: "It was five weeks today that I had my operation. I had my neck done, my jowls ... He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed."

Sharon confessed back in 2007 to spending around £300,000 on plastic surgeries and 'tweakments', but considering recent years' activities, that number could be edging closer to £1 million.
