Two injured at scene in Tice

TICE, Fla. — Two women have been transported to the hospital with critical injuries, as deputies investigate a scene in the Tice community near Montgomery Avenue.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office says patrol and detectives are actively working the scene which started as a "distressing 911 call", and they are now seeking potential witnesses.

People are asked to avoid the area.
