Third Astro Bot PS5 Speedrun Level Spring-Loaded Run Out Now

Launch yourself through the stage

Right on schedule, Team Asobi has dropped the third speedrun level for Astro Bot on PS5, this one called Spring-Loaded Run. You'll need to download the latest patch to play it, and then you can get to rescuing the Special Bots and recording a fast time for the online leaderboard.

As the post from PlayStation on Twitter reveals, this course is all about using the spring gloves to grapple onto objects and launch yourself further through the level. The device will almost certainly help you find some shortcuts to cut down on your final time. Two more speedrun stages are planned for the coming weeks, and here's what the schedule looks like now:

• 7th November — Helium Heights
• 14th November — Rising Heat

Really enjoying these levels. Not a fan of speed running so don't even try to place high, just want to get each new bot. Really hope after they release the last level they announce a whole new galaxy expansion. Maybe some new PlayStation themed levels.

Yeah that would be awesome. I’d love an Uncharted series of themed levels starting with Drakes Fortune!. Such fond memories of that one back in 08 or whenever it was. The start of such a huge journey 😁. Killzone themed levels 🔥 Motorstorm. A wealth of possibilities

Having a lot of fun with the other two I am competing with my nephew and we both are besting our times every time, it's being really fun.

Currently I have 31.02 in the first and 36.8 in the second I think

@BusyOlf no I haven’t but that is music to my ears! I was in smyths today staring at it in the shelf but I was there to buy baby things, again lol. I’m going to grab it on Black friday and play it on the PRO although I’m not sure it could get any better in terms of perf etc from what I’ve read and seen lol thanks for letting me know that.

Without this game i wouldn’t even turn on my PS5. Astro Bot is insanely fun. Enjoying it is an under statement.

@Americansamurai1 It wouldn't surprised me if they release more in some way or another. There is a nice big space opposite of the speedrun challenges for anything else they might want to add.
