Channel 5 Our Yorkshire Farm's Raven Owen shares major bombshell after making rare TV appearance
by Oscar Fisher, Alex Evans, Tom Kershaw · Derbyshire LiveViewers of 'Our Yorkshire Farm' caught a rare glimpse of Raven Owen, Amanda and Clive Owen's eldest child, during Monday’s airing of 'Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids'. Although the 24-year-old rose to fame on the Channel 5 series with her family, she had somewhat saddening news to share.
Following the show's termination last year due to her parents’ separation, Raven has sought her own direction far from the farmstead. Now residing in York, she visited her childhood home in the Yorkshire Dales for a short period. While speaking on the new More 4 series, Raven expressed her sentiments about the countryside: "Just that sense of being in the countryside. I see myself coming back here in the future. Once I've had my city time and stuff like that."
Her father Clive highlighted the strong bond she shares with their home, noting: "She's a Ravenseater. She's named after it. And I think it'll always be a part of her life." He continued, "She's living her life in York so she doesn't see the project as often as t'others but it's lovely to be back and having a look at what we've done," reports Leeds Live.
Raven also scrutinised 'Anty John's', the dwelling her kin are crafting in their current series, and pictured it as their perpetual residence. Displaying enthusiasm, she conveyed her readiness to help her mother Amanda with interior decorations once the house is completed.
Raven remarked: "Mum sees a run down barn and sees less of a run down barn and more of a possibility of what it could be." She also expressed her satisfaction with the improvements, saying: "Seeing it today and the progress that's been made since I was last up, I just feel quite happy for her."
