by · DevonLive

Anyone looking to celebrate this year’s bonfire night has a choice of events to enjoy in Mid Devon

A colourful display of fireworks is promised as Moorhayes Community Centre hosts a free, family-friendly event on November 1, which also includes a disco. It starts at 7pm, with the fireworks due to go off at 7.30pm.

Although it’s free, you can donate money and with each donation, there will be free sparklers. A bar and food will be available.

Also on November 1 is the grand firework display at Cullompton Rugby Club.

There’s a display by Sonic Fireworks and a bar and food will be available. The gates open at 6pm. Adults £7, under 18’s £5 (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult), family ticket, £20 (two adults and two children). Pay at the gate with card or cash.

Strictly no sparklers and only disabled parking available at the club.

The following night, November 2, there will be a musical firework display and live music at Tiverton Golf Club. Gates open at 4.45pm and there will be a kids disco from 5pm to 7pm in the marquee.

Live band JJ And The Sixes will be playing in the marquee from 8pm.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks around 7.45pm. There will be a bar and food village, kids inflatables and face painting and under-threes go free. Adults, £10, children three to 15 £5 and family tickets are £25. Details: tivertongolfclub.co.uk/book-events/

Tiverton Rugby Clubs Annual Firework Display is back 'with a bang' on Sunday 5th November. Charles Burt at the club said: "We have held the admission price to £5 per adult and £3 per child (4-15yrs). The Club Bar will be open from 5pm with food available from 6pm.

"There is no parking at the club itself (except for some Disabled parking). There is very limited parking at Petroc College so the advice is to walk to the club. Fireworks will begin at 7.30pm. This is Tiverton's largest display and is completely funded by the Rugby Club."
