Woman dies following house fire in Belfast
by Connor Lynch · Irish MirrorA woman in her 50s has died following a house fire in Belfast on Monday. The PSNI has confirmed that the woman died following a fire at a property in the New Barnsley Park area of West Belfast on December 16.
At around 3.25pm on Monday, emergency services were called to the fire, with firefighters working to extinguish the blaze. Tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Belfast Live.
The PSNI has said said it is conducting enquiries into the woman's death and it is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.

Detective Sergeant Christine Alexander said: "Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze but, sadly, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Police are conducting enquiries into this death, on behalf of the Coroner. At this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious."
