American influencer and makeup artist James Charles has shown off his luxury hotel suite as he visits Scotland for his UK and Ireland tour.

The YouTube sensation gave fans a tour of his £3,000 per night Penthouse Suite in the Blythswood Hotel.

Titling the video 'the most expensive hotel room', the MUA gushed over the luxurious 153sq metres suite, which includes a master bedroom, a wet room and a sunken ‘spa’ bathtub; a walk-in wardrobe; media lounge with views across the city; a dining room that seats up to 10 guests, with adjacent kitchen; and a private roof garden.

It comes as thousands of excited fans flocked to BPerfect in the city's St Enoch's Centre to celebrate the Bperfect X Painted collaboration and meet the 25-year-old.

This is the first retail partnership for James’ Painted brand and gives UK and European customers access to the full Painted collection in-store.

However, reports on social media suggest that the event did not run smoothly, as one person wrote: "The Glasgow BPerfect James Charles event is a shambles. Queue not moving, police everywhere screaming wee lassies in the thousands."
