Man, 64, arrested and charged after indecent exposure and assault at Scots playpark

A man has been arrested and charged following reports of an assault and indecent exposure at a children's playpark in Aberdeen.

Cops were informed of the incident involving a 64-year-old which occurred at around 4.45pm on September 26 at Sumburgh Crescent near Sheddocksley Community Centre.

Officers confirmed the 64-year-old had been arrested and that a report would be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, September 30, reports Aberdeen Live.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a report of an assault and an indecent exposure in Aberdeen.

"The incident happened around 4.45pm on Thursday, 26 September 2024 at a play park in Sumburgh Crescent. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."

They added: "He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 30 September, 2024."
