Hot pepper festival is back

The hottest festival in the South Okanagan-Similkameen is back this weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., head on down to Keremeos' Memorial park to enjoy the fun at the Similkameen Sizzle hot pepper festival.

Expect 45 vendors, food trucks, activities and entertainment, including a hot pepper eating contest.

There will also be multiple 50/50 raffles throughout the day.

In the afternoon, the Similkameen Independent Winegrowers will be hosting a Sip & Sizzle Tasting Event, featuring local wines, ciders, and spirits.
