Drive-thru breakfast back
by Sarah Crookall · CastanetThe Oliver Fire Department is hosting its 10th annual drive-through breakfast for a cause next weekend.
In a social media post on Wednesday, the fire department reminded residents of the event.
"It's back! The Oliver Fire Department's Drive Thru Breakfast. Come down for our 10th year of breakfast, breakfast donations support the Starfish Program," reads the post"
From 8 to 10 a.m. on Nov. 23, the fire team will be serving up breakfast sandwiches, a hashbrown, an apple, and a coffee or orange juice. Breakfast is offered by donation.
Participants will be able to drive-through and pick-up their meals.
Proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Starfish Pack program, which is a B.C-based school food program that locally serves hundreds of students annually to ensure students don't go hungry.
