A beautiful house which resembles a castle has come on the market in the Cheshire countryside - but it doesn't come cheap. The fairytale mansion, which features turrets and stained glass windows, is up for rent in Chester with a whopping price tag of £12,000 a month.

A dream home for many, the sprawling property boasts nine reception rooms, seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, an outdoor pool and five stables, and is surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens.

But despite the steep price tag, which equates to a cost of around £2,770 per week, the house comes unfurnished with tenants required to source their own furniture before moving in.
