Rows breaking out over taxi queues in Naas

by · Leinster Leader

A signpost is needed in Naas to indicate where exactly a taxi queue starts.

Naas mayor Fintan Brett asked KCC to install a signpost at Market Square, “to denote the starting place for queuing for taxis."

He said he witnessed two rows at that location while queueing for a taxi himself.

He said this is more likely to happen “especially where there are a few pints on board and it can cause problems."

KCC’s response was that there are “existing road markings and signage advising of the taxi spaces at Market Square (but) there are no proposals for additional signs at this location.”
