Brits holidaying in Tenerife have been gobsmacked by the McDonald's menu on the sunny Spanish island, as shown in a viral TikTok video.

@theknightstrider1, a TikToker based in Tenerife, has taken to the platform to give his followers a taste of what the local McDonald's serves up for breakfast. Much to the surprise of viewers, the breakfast line-up includes tempting "McDalena" muffins in two different flavours, which aren't up for grabs back home in Blighty.

Cravings are also being stoked by "Mini Cronuts", combining the best of French pastries and donuts, along with "McPops" bite-sized doughnuts bursting with assorted fillings. Of course, the much-loved sausage and bacon McMuffin classics made the list too.

For those with a sweet tooth, the Tenerife McDonald's rolls out some truly lush dessert choices, like Milkybar and Biscoff McFlurries and a selection of new and exciting "mad cool" ice cream sundae flavours, while still catering to traditional tastes with the good ol' apple pie.

And here's the clincher: the McRib has resurfaced on the main menu!, reports the Mirror.

The cult classic, adored by UK fans and last seen across British McDonald's outlets in 2015, is making a comeback, with the fast-food giant confirming its return to the UK just this week.

Not to miss is the "Triple Chicken Mayo" burger, hailed as a smash hit amongst Brits visiting the Tenerife shores. Doubling down on the usual chicken mayo burger, it features not one but three breaded chicken pieces stacked, setting the bar for a satisfying bite.

One menu item from a viral video captured the attention, sparking calls for a comeback, as one viewer exclaimed: "Omg the McRib, bring it back to the UK McDonald's."

Shortly afterwards, in an almost prophetic turn, McDonald's confirmed its return.

But buzz around the McRib wasn't the only thing on fans' lips. Another lovely review for the 'mcpops' came with: "Omg the mcpops are amazing."

Nostalgia dripped from another comment longing for old favourites: "Miss the sundae ice creams."

The comparisons continued as people observed differences between Spanish and UK McDonalds menus. An additional observation hinted at a tastier experience abroad: "Had the sausage McMuffin when I went and I thought it was sooo much nicer than the ones in the UK, so much fresher not greasy... shame they don't do hash browns just had wedges instead."
