The Food Standards Agency has issued an urgent warning over 50 food items sold at a number of high street retailers, including Aldi and Spar, as they contain peanuts

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued an urgent warning to peanut allergy sufferers, advising them to avoid eating any products containing mustard. It comes after alerts were issued for affected products from Domino's and Aldi.

The FSS and the FSA are urgently working with the relevant Local Authorities, individual businesses and industry to identify which products may be affected.

People with a peanut allergy are advised to avoid eating foods that may contain mustard.
