'Perverse' doctor caught performing sexual acts in front of colleagues

A 'perverse' doctor was caught on camera walking around nude and performing a sexual act in front of workers at his Arkansas practice.

Surveillance video captured at Diffine Family Practice in Blytheville in 2019 allegedly shows Dr. David Diffine walking naked through the clinic and past patient rooms, KAIT-TV reported.

Diffine, whose license was suspended on an emergency basis last month, can also been seen parading his naked body in front of three women in the reception area.

He allegedly performed a sexual act directly on one of the women and ejaculated on her, the footage showed. The victim worked in the clinic as a lab technician and was also one of Diffine's patients.

The videos, which were sent to the Arkansas State Medical Board in July, were filmed during business hours, according to the complaint.

Diffine has also been accused of using his 'position of power, sexual grooming, salary increases to groom employees and patients into repulsive sexual acts', the complaint states.

The medical director of the Arkansas Medical Foundation has branded Diffine's behavior as 'perverse' and recommended a formal professional evaluation.

The doctor, who is Internal Medicine specialist with officers in three Arkansas cities, faces a disciplinary hearing before the state medical board next month.

The state medical board received a complaint on July 17 this year alleging that Diffine sexually harassed and engaged in sexual content with staff members, who were also patients.

He was interviewed over the phone by a state health department investigator about the allegations in September.

Diffine was told there was footage to support the allegations, but according to the investigative report, replied: 'I don't know anything about that at all.

'I would have to see those things to have any idea what you're talking about.'

The video was reviewed by Dr. Bradley Diner, of the Arkansas Medical Foundation, who wrote in the investigative documents: 'The pervasive behavior leads to concerns about a sexual compulsive disorder or paraphilia which may in fact cross boundaries with his delivery of medical care.

'Simply, the interaction with his office staff suggest an entanglement in his medical practice.'

Diffine's license was suspended on October 13 following the board's investigation. His disciplinary hearing is scheduled for December 6.

The board previously investigated Diffine over concerns about his 'naturist activities' in January after receiving a complaint that he was posting nude photos on Instagram.

The complaint reportedly included screenshots from his now-deleted account @naked.drdave, which Diffine alleged was a 'well-known' account in the 'naturist community'.

Diffine told investigators that he was a naturist, claiming that the practice promotes acceptance and body positivity. In a letter to the medical board he wrote, 'We do not shame, sexualize, fear, or negatively stigmatize the naked body'.

He also claimed there was 'no crossover whatsoever with my professionalism while practicing medicine and my naturist activities.'

The board decided in June not to take any action against Diffine and instead saved the complaint as 'information only' and added it to his file.

Diffine was also under investigation in 2017 for allegedly prescribing 'excessive amounts of controlled substances'. His license was temporarily suspended, but the charges were ultimately dropped due to a lack of evidence.

The investigation came just six years after Diffine was criminally charged in Missouri for allegedly illegally distributing pain medications.

He entered in a deferred prosecution agreement in 2011 after an investigation by the state medical board and the charges were dropped, with Diffine agreeing not to practice medicine in Missouri for three years.

The Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts closed the case in 2013 and took no action against him, according to records obtained by KAIT.

DailyMail.com called Diffine Family Practice for comment, but was unable to reach a member of staff. The practice website also appears to have been shut down.
