Smoke from slash piles

The District of Logan Lake says residents can expect to see some smoke in the next few weeks due to slash pile burning.

In a social media post, the district said pile burning will be undertaken in the Logan Lake Community Forest in the next three weeks.

The burning will take place to the north and southwest of Logan Lake.

“No need to be alarmed if you see smoke from these areas,” the district said.
