$76K raised for hospital

The South Okanagan Medical Foundation is thrilled to announce that the annual Penticton Golf and Country Club Tees Up for Cancer fundraiser raised a whopping $76,000.

On Aug. 17, more than 100 golfers participated and contributed to the funds that will go right back to the SOS Medical Foundation and their work towards a $10 million new oncology clinic at the Penticton Regional Hospital, slated to open in 2025.

The fundraised surpassed last year's total of $62,000 by a significant amount.

We are profoundly thankful for the continued support of these amazing women. Their efforts ensure the highest quality care for the South Okanagan Similkameen region," said Ian Lindsay, SOS Medical Foundation CEO.
