Rajasthan Forest Minister visits GSDP stall of IFGTB in Coimbatore

Sanjay Sharma, Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Science and Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan, visited the Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) product stall of the Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) on Wednesday.

S. Vigneswaran, Senior Programme Officer, elaborated on GSDP of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and explained about the various certificate courses conducted by IFGTB’s EIACP (Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme) Programme Centre. He highlighted the programme’s contribution to enhancing environmental awareness and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the trainees, especially dropouts across the country.
