Every year, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School visits cities across Canada, auditioning dancers to join one of its three professional division programs: The Ballet Academic, Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant and Teacher Training.

The ballet school visited Calgary on Friday, hosting auditions at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. Postmedia photographer Brent Calver was there to record the event.
