One man dead after shooting in Forest Lawn

Officers were called to the 900 block of 40th Street S.E. at around 7:20 p.m. where it was reported that there was a shooting in the neighborhood.

Calgary police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Forest Lawn on Thursday night.

Officers were called to the 900 block of 40th Street S.E. at around 7:20 p.m. where it was reported that there was a shooting in the neighborhood. When police arrived they found one man who was injured from gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday morning.
