A 16-year-old boy who was killed after being mowed down while driving a motorcycle with his friend has been pictured for the first time.

Aidan Tottman was struck near the Liquid Leisure complex in Datchet, Berkshire, on Saturday.

Police and paramedics who were called to the crash found Aidan and his friend lying in the road after the motorcycle they were riding was allegedly hit deliberately.

A motorist at the scene was initially arrested on suspicion of drink-driving but was re-arrested later for murder when Aidan lost his fight for survival from his injuries in hospital.

The teenager's heartbroken family described him as 'the best son and big brother who was a part of so many people's lives'.

The family of Aidan released a tribute to him as the murder investigation continued.

They said: 'Aidan was the best son, big brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend anyone could have. He was a massive part of so many people's lives and is loved very dearly by all.

'He was a kind, caring, funny and sometimes shy boy, who was always polite and had respect for others. Aidan will be so missed by so many people.'

'A whole community is grieving. Taken way too soon, gone but never forgotten. RIP beautiful boy, forever 16.'

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said that the arrested car driver had been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The other injured boy was said to be stable in Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.
