Piers Morgan Piers Morgan calls out Dems for 'dementia' hypocrisy

Piers Morgan blasted Democrats for hinting that Donald Trump has dementia despite turning a blind eye to Joe Biden's well-documented cognitive decline.

The broadcaster slammed Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' on Monday after she claimed Trump, 78, can no longer 'complete sentences, stand still' or 'make sense.'

Morgan interrupted her remarks as he argued that Democrats 'hid' 81 year-old Biden's decline 'for two years from the American people.'

'(Biden) clearly has got onset early dementia,' Morgan said. 'It’s pretty rich to play the dementia card at Trump who basically does a two-hour rock show most nights on stage.'

Piers Morgan branded a Democrat guest as 'pretty bloody rich' after they claimed Donald Trump is suffering dementia despite lingering concerns over President Biden's condition
One of Morgan's guests claimed Trump can no longer 'complete sentences, stand still' or 'make sense', which others said was 'absurd' as the 78-year-old continues to campaign vigorously

Another of Morgan's guests on the show, conservative commentator Dave Rubin, agreed with the hypocrisy claim.

'It’s not two years that they hid this, it’s from before he was president,' Rubin said. 'I was doing videos in 2019 about this.'

Rubin said he believes Biden suffers from dementia or Parkinson's, and alleged that Democratic leaders including Kamala Harris kicked Biden out of office when his age became politically expedient for them.

The president's decline was finally exposed against his appalling debate performance against Donald Trump in June. That saw him announce he'd no longer run for re-election a month later.

'They got him in an office, I’m talking about Joe Biden, and they basically threatened him with the 25th Amendment which is why he’s not running anymore,' Rubin said.

'We know this is a fact because Joe Biden basically said that on ‘The View’ that he still thinks he’s capable and that he would have beat Donald Trump.'

Morgan was joined by conservative commentator Dave Rubin (second left), who also slammed Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross (second right) for claiming Trump is suffering cognitive decline
President Biden dropped out of the presidential race in June amid mounting concerns over his mental state, however opponents claim Democrats covered up his apparent decline for years beforehand

In recent weeks, Harris has repeatedly tried to paint Trump as an ailing, elderly candidate who avoids interviews, particularly citing his refusal to debate her a second time.

But Rubin and Morgan also called out this line of attack and claimed Trump has showed no signs of slowing down, despite being the oldest presidential nominee in history.

Rubin said the notion was 'absurd', and said he is 'doing more interviews, mainstream podcasts, bouncing around (doing) crazy rallies.'

'The guy, whether you like him or not — I get you guys don’t like him — but whether you like him or not you know what the guy thinks and he’s more than happy to explain it to you over and over again,' he continued.

'The idea that he now is too old after what they just pulled on Biden is so hypocritical.'

Rubin claimed Kamala Harris and other Democrat kingpins forced Biden out of the race by threatening to invoke the 25th amendment over his mental state

The spat over Trump's mental state comes as tensions rise in the presidential race just three weeks away from election day.

And this week, Harris' campaign has been rocked by a plagiarism scandal as potentially damning allegations surfaced about testimony she delivered when she was a U.S. senator.

Harris is accused of lifting text 'verbatim' from a former colleague for use in written congressional testimony she gave in 2007, in an analysis by the Washington Free Beacon.

The latest allegations about Harris come hot on the heels of another scandal - over whether she actually worked at McDonald's in college, as she has claimed.

Both come after she was previously accused of copying 'word-for-word' several blocks of text in her book 'Smart on Crime,' published in 2009.

The latest plagiarism allegations arise from testimony Harris gave as a senator in support of the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act of 2007, a bill that would help pay student loans for state and federal prosecutors to keep talented lawyers in the profession.
