Police have launched a desperate appeal to find a missing mother and her seven-year-old son amid fears she has 'changed her appearance'.

Karima Mahmoud and Adam Glanville were last seen in Richmond on June 3.

The boy is believed to be with his mother, who is in breach of a family court order, police said.

The Met is now desperately trying to locate the mother and son, neither of whom are believed to have come to any harm.

Although, the force said it is possible that Ms Mahmoud may have altered her appearance.

Detective Sergeant Mary Dawson said: 'We have followed all lines of enquiry in order, however we are again asking for the public's help.

'While we've no evidence to suspect that either of them have come to harm, as time passes we are increasingly concerned for their welfare.'

Met Police urged anyone who has seen Ms Mahmoud or Adam, or have information that could help locate them, to call 101 ref 01/421708/24.
