Official loses his job after he's being caught red handed by his wife

A government worker was fired from his lucrative position after his wife busted him cheating on her at a hotel.

Wild footage recorded by a bystander captured the moment Marcelo Serra was confronted by his wife, Gabrielle Kienen, as he was about to drive away from Praia Grande Hotel in Niteroí, Brazil, on September 12.

An irate Kienen walked out of her SUV and shouted at Serra while he remained seated with his female companion in a vehicle belong to the city's Conservation and Public Services department.

Kienen hit the driver's side window and opened the door at Serra stepped out.

The couple, who reportedly have been married for six years, briefly exchanged words as Serra got back inside the vehicle.

'You ruined my life, you bastard,' Kienen shouted at one point.

'Using the city hall car at the Praia Grande motel, the undersecretary of Conservation.'

A distraught Kienen continued to yell as Serra started to back away in the car and argued with a bystander.

Brazilian news outlet Metropoles reported that one of Serra's profile picture on one of his social media accounts had wedding ring emoji with Kienen's name on it.

The video went viral on social media and eventually caught the attention of the mayor's office.

Serra was fired from his role the Conservation and Public Services' undersecretary on Saturday.

'The use of official vehicles for personal purposes is expressly prohibited,' the city said in a statement. 'The secretariat does not comment on the private lives of its employees.'
