Alleged serial rapist identical twins stood shame-faced and wearing suicide vests in their first court appearance after being charged in a wide-ranging sex crimes investigation linked to their family real estate empire

Oren and Alon Alexander, 37, are accused alongside their brother Tal Alexander, 38, of drugging and raping dozens of women or being involved in sex trafficking between 2010 and 2021.

Oren and Tal Alexander were superstar realtors with the famed Douglas Elliman real estate firm and are famous for selling America's most expensive ever property, a $238 million penthouse overlooking Central Park they closed on in 2019

Alon worked as an executive at a security firm founded by the brothers' parents, real estate developer Shlomy Alexander and security executive Orly Alexander, both of whom were in attendance at their sons' first hearing on Thursday.

The hearing resulted in Oren and Alon having their bond denied as they were deemed a flight risk. It is unclear why Tal, who is facing lesser charges, did not appear in court on Thursday alongside his brothers.

In the hearing Thursday, Oren urged the judge to grant him bond because his wife is heavily pregnant and expected to give birth any day, but their release was denied as prosecutors noted they have access to private jets and boats.

The brothers boasted of their lavish lifestyle on social media over the years and found themselves in high-flying social circles, with Oren previously pictured partying with fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The three brothers were each arrested at separate properties in Miami on Wednesday morning, and the twins are also facing state felony charges of sexual battery related to alleged assaults on three women, reports the New York Times

Stomach-churning claims made against the trio in an indictment said they would arrange glamorous international parties as 'bait', then allegedly choose from a rape 'wish list' of women they wanted to attend.

The brothers' parents, successful businesspeople in their own right who immigrated from Israel in 1982, were in attendance at the hearing on Thursday

In the hours after the identical twins were taken into custody in Miami, their fall from grace was evident as they both appeared shell-shocked while being snapped for their mugshots.

A mugshot for 38-year-old Tal has not yet been released, with the trio set to face federal charges in NYC.

Prosecutors claim they used their wealth and status to target and coerce women, and even allegedly conspired to set up events and trips to entice women into their web.

On Wednesday, FBI agents were seen outside Oren's home in Miami, and a spokesperson with the FBI's New York division told Bloomberg they obtained a search warrant for his property.

The brothers have previously denied the allegations against them and are currently being held in custody in Miami.

According to reported arrest warrants, Oren and Alon Alexander were indicted over three sexual assaults, in 2016, 2017 and 2021.

Oren Alexander is cited in all three allegations, while only the 2016 incident involved Alon.

None of the arrest warrants reference Tal and the specific claims which led to his indictment have yet to emerge.

Oren, who was cited in all three allegations made in federal search warrants, is pictured with his model wife Kamila Hansen in 2023. At Thursday's hearing, he pleaded for release because she is heavily pregnant

Million Dollar Listing star accuses ultra-rich realtor of sexually assaulting her

The first of the three allegations against the brothers from 2016 alleged that Alon Alexander invited a New York woman down to Miami Beach for a barbeque, only for her to find that she was the only person invited when she got there.

She claimed Alon gave her a tour and led her to the bedroom, where she was confronted by Alon, Oren, and their cousin, Ohad Fisherman.

She told the Miami Beach Police Department that Fisherman held her down while the brothers sexually assaulted her. The New York Times reported that Fisherman now faces a sexual battery charge, but remains at large.

In 2017, it is alleged that Oren Alexander messaged another woman on Instagram and invited to the beach, where she later met Alon and other family members.

Weeks later she said she had dinner with Oren and a friend before a real estate event, and said she was taken back to the same Miami Beach condo where the 2016 claim unfolded.

She said she tried on virtual reality goggles inside the condo, at which point Oren allegedly removed her dress and pushed her into a bedroom before assaulting her.

The victim said she met Oren weeks later at a hot tub event, and demanded an apology, which he responded to by trying to kiss her and masturbate over her, it is claimed.

When she told friends and Oren heard about it, he allegedly sent her a text message in 2018 saying: 'Nothing happened. If you keep talking about it, I’m going to ruin you.'

In the 2021 incident, a woman claimed she met Oren at dinner with a friend before they went to a Miami Beach property. At the home, she said Oren poured her a drink and instantly tried to kiss her on the couch.

He led her to the bedroom, she claimed, ripped off her dress and shoes, and refused to let her leave. She said she later returned to the bedroom and he assaulted her, according to the warrant.

Since June, the brothers have also been hit with civil lawsuits from at least two women and accused of sexual assault by dozens more in recent years.

One lawsuit filed in March accused Oren and Alon of rape, and a second lawsuit included similar allegations against Tal, reports the Wall Street Journal.

The men have denied the allegations in the lawsuits, which shocked the real estate world where Tal and Oren were once seen as rising stars.

One of their accusers, star of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Tracy Tutor, 48, joined nine other women in making claims of sexual assault to the New York Times in July.

Seven of the women, including Tutor, said they believe they were drugged before being raped by either Tal, 38, or the younger twins Oren and Alon, 37.
