A woman punched up a lorry's wing mirrors with her bare hands in a terrifying road rage attack.

Shocking video footage filmed by the driver of the lorry shows the woman standing outside the cab at a busy junction and shouting at the driver.

The incident was filmed in Bounds Green, north London, on Wednesday, but the events leading up to it were not caught on camera.

The woman reportedly tried to force her way between two lorries to enter a dual carriageway, with the lorry driver accusing her of crashing into multiple other vehicles as she did so.

After managing to get in front of the lorry which was the target of the attack, she is said to have pulled up and got out to confront the driver.

The woman attempts to open the door before telling the driver through the window: 'Come on, open the door.'

The woman continues: 'Come on, open the door bro. Open the door.'

When the driver makes no move to open the door, she suddenly jumps up and starts punching the wing mirror with her fist, smashing it to pieces.

The woman hits the mirrors at least a dozen times, causing part of the plastic cases to detach from the mirror.

She then throws this at the driver's window before storming back to her car, abandoned with the door open a few metres away.

As she speeds away, the lorry driver is heard to say: 'Wow.'

The lorry driver claimed she had attempted to force her way onto a dual carriageway, crashing into several vehicles as she did so

He said: 'She tried to force her way between two lorries to join a dual carriageway, usual London behaviour.

'Myself and the other lorry and all the other cars she illegally overtook wouldn't let her push in. So she crashed into multiple vehicles to try and cut in.

'Then after that she got in front of me and attacked my vehicle.'
