Searches for North Tyneside pregnant woman who went missing after leaving hospital

A pregnant woman who went missing after leaving hospital is being searched for by Northumbria Police.

Alexis Frances Ali, 38, was reported missing after leaving Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital on Cramlington at around 5.40pm on Tuesday, November 26.

She was last seen in the Park Avenue area of Whitley Bay at around 6.30pm later that day. Alexis has not been heard from since then, and her family and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Alexis is described as a white female who is currently pregnant, around 5ft 4ins, of slim build, with long brown hair. She is believed to be wearing a long black puffer jacket, with blue jeans and purple colour Croc-type shoes.

Alexis, or anyone who knows her whereabouts, is being asked to contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media, using live chat and report forms on on their website here, or by calling 101 and quoting the following reference number: NP-20241126-1166.
