Another food item has been added to a long list of products that have been recalled due to risks posed to anyone with a peanut allergy.

FGS Ingredients Ltd is recalling more than 60 products containing mustard powder because they may contain peanuts. This means these items are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

The Food Standards Agency, which has issued the warning, says these products are sold under several different brand names at several different retail stores. The list contains items sold at Aldi, Spar and other stores, and includes dip pots, sandwiches, wraps, pasta salads, sandwich fillers and potato salad.

In the latest update, an additional product has been added to the list. The warning is for Tim Horton’s BBQ Sauce dip, with a pack size of 25g and best before date of January 2025.

A notice from Tim Hortons says: "Dear customer, we have been made aware that some of our BBQ Sauce Dip 25g dated Jan 25 may contain traces of peanut. Please check the date on the bottom of the pot.

"If you have any dated Jan 25, dispose of the dips and do not consume them. This only affects the 25g dip pots."

There have been two previous recall notices regarding all the products on the list. You can read the first one here and the second one here.

The FSA says: "These products may contain peanut making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts. FGS Ingredients Ltd is recalling the above products and have been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

"These products are sold under several different brand names at several different retail stores. Point of sale notices will be displayed where the products were sold. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat them."
