Pauline YARDLEY (GRAHAM)

Pauline Yardley (nee Graham) was born in Wallsend, Northumberland. She immigrated to Canada in 1965 and met her soulmate in Edmonton, Alberta. They relocated and enjoyed a beautiful life together in the South Island coastal community of Victoria, BC., building their home and tending to an immense garden in Oak Bay for over 40 years. Later, they moved to Qualicum Beach, BC, where they spent their last decade enjoying beach picnics, breathtaking sunsets, and the tranquil lifestyle of the community. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Norman Sr. and Margaret Graham, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Norman and Kathleen Graham. She departed this life three months following the passing of her cherished husband, Ross Yardley. Deeply devoted to her children, she is survived by Carollyne (Lawrence) and Hugh, nephews Paul and Ian Graham, and extended family and friends.

John Smail YOUNG

(Amended Funeral Time) Passed away unexpectedly at home on 19th September 2024 aged 69 years. Dear husband to Hazel and a much loved father of Eleanor and Adam, a dear brother to Robert and Roslyn and his in-laws Pauline and Rob. Will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Private cremation at Cowpen Crematorium at 12.15pm on Friday 11th October 2024 followed by funeral service at St James Church, Morpeth at 13.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the RSPB.
