Police confirm missing South Shields man found safe and well
Christopher Patton, who is from the Harton area of South Shields, was reported missing earlier today

Christopher Patton, who is from the Harton area of South Shields, was reported missing earlier today (Monday). It is reported that the 47-year-old may be driving a dark blue Vauxhall Insignia car, which has the registration SG19 MWK.
He is described as a white male, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build.
Officers and Christopher's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and a public appeal has now been launched as the search continues.
Christopher, or anyone who knows where he might be, should contact police either by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the Force website.
