Police search for missing man last seen in Newcastle city centre

Police are searching for a missing Newcastle man. Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Gordon Hamilton, 69, was last seen on Clayton Street in Newcastle city centre at about 6.30am on Saturday.

Anyone with information on Gordon’s whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately. Gordon is described as 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, and with grey hair worn in a side parting.

He was last seen wearing glasses, a black coat, and trainers. He usually wears a checked shirt and jeans, and could be in possession of a walking stick.
